This GDI44 Safety Alert is concerned with propane burning models only for serial numbers below GDI44006997. If your GDI44 insert uses natural gas, your GDI44 insert is not affected and there is no need for concern.

While we are only aware of one single incident, out of concern for our Customers' welfare and safety, we ask that you discontinue using your GDI44 Propane Gas Insert and immediately submit your request for the upgrade kit which will be sent directly to you.

To better serve you, we ask that you fill in all of the fields below including model and serial number of your propane GDI44 gas insert. This number can be found behind the right side door panel of the insert, next to the gas valve.
